Sundays with Anna is a personal travel, beauty and shopping site run by Anastasia Chiriac. This page explains what personal data the site handles and why. Questions or requests about your data: hello@sundayswithanna.com.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page in order to deliver the site securely. I do not use advertising cookies.

Website analytics with Umami Cloud

I use Umami Cloud, a hosted analytics service provided by Umami Software, Inc. (United States), to understand how this site is used and improve it. Under my account settings, analytics data is stored in the EU region. Umami acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

Umami does not use cookies. It uses an anonymous, cookie-free session identifier and records pageviews, page URLs, referrers, UTM parameters, browser, operating system, device type, language, approximate location and time spent on a page.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

In addition, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused measurement service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. It counts visits and measures page loading speed in aggregate. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or other client-side storage and does not collect personal data to track individual visitors across sites. It runs through the same hosting provider that delivers the site, so no additional service sees your visit.

When you click an affiliate link, I also record an affiliate-click event with the partner’s domain, the page path and the link text, without personal data. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how my website and affiliate links are used and improving my site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The newsletter

If you subscribe to the Sunday stories email, I collect your email address through a form provided by MailerLite, which sends the emails on my behalf. You will receive a confirmation email first (double opt-in), and your address is only used to send the newsletter. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to me to be removed. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). MailerLite processes the data under its own privacy policy and data-processing terms.

Links to other sites

The site links to hotels, shops, transport providers and videos on YouTube. Once you follow a link, the other site’s privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links; see the affiliate disclosure.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and request data portability. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If I change the analytics or other services that process personal data, I will update this page.
